Why we decided to join forces: the story of HTP Global Group, leaders in engineered wood

Sometimes, taking the definitive step in the international market is not about starting from scratch, but about knowing who to have by your side. In a sector as competitive as engineered wood, we asked ourselves a very simple strategic question: Why operate in isolation if we can unite to guarantee a more solid and diversified supply?

Those who know the industry value the weight of production plants such as Betanzos HB in Spain or Tarnaise des Panneaux in France. We are talking about industrial centers with decades of technical heritage, which have perfected the manufacturing of high-density fiberboards (hardboard) through sustainable processes and without the need to add artificial chemical resins.

We had the knowledge, the product, and the production capacity; we just needed to integrate the pieces. Therefore, in 2021, historical partners and collaborators decided to unify our commercial capacity and officially found HTP Global Group.

From Europe to Asia: diversification in the structural panel market

By integrating our operations, we realized that our technical response capacity could go much further. Operating globally is not just about sending a container to another continent; it is about understanding the demands of each market and manufacturing the exact solution.

That is why, in 2024, we took the next big step: expanding our operations to Asia with the opening of HTPLY Vietnam. With this high-tech center, we expanded our catalog to venture into the plywood market. Today, we are not only leaders in European high-density fiber, but we also manufacture structural and formwork panels designed to withstand the most demanding construction conditions.

Currently, we control the entire value chain: from forest origin to final delivery. We coordinate specialized factories in three countries and supply technical material to more than 60 nations.

We could highlight the purity of our eco-friendly boards, free of added resins, our capacity to develop custom components, or the scope of an infrastructure that exports to all five continents. However, what really makes this entire mechanism work is the human team behind it.
