LA FORESTIÈRE DU TARN

The group’s history began in 2021 with the creation of a consortium made up of La Tarnaise des Panneaux, SEB, Forest Energie, CBois and Lajas, and the union a year later of Occitarn Bois and Scierie Vieu, a subsidiary of the Sud Abiès group.

The group’s objective is to offer a range of services covering the entire timber sector, while preserving each company’s own identity, making it a truly independent player in the timber sector in the South of France.

From forest management to the sale of finished products, Forestière du Tarn controls the entire wood processing chain, while maintaining a local presence, which is essential for the group and for all its member companies. Bringing together local industrialists and self-employed wood craftsmen, its aim is to play a role in the first and second transformation of wood, and to make its weight felt while maintaining a family spirit with deeply rooted values
